Clafoutis with sweet cherries

If you have eggs and flour at home, you will be able to make this dessert immediately. It’s so easy to make and so quick, that you can make it when you have unexpected guests.
The cake is not a cake really, my husband says it’s a great massive pancake, hahha. But whatever, it tastes delicious, and you can make it with different fruits. However, I like them the most with summer fruits like cherries, raspberries or blueberries.

You can eat them hot and cold, hot with ice cream makes a perfect summer desert! Pride for coffee … .. ahhhhh. It is really simple so. I’m already telling you what’s in it.

Clafoutis with cherries


  • 500 g cherries pitted and halved
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1/3 cup icing sugar
  • 1 1/2 Cup of flour
  • 1 cup of milk
  • Pinch of salt
  • 6 eggs
  • Butter


  1. Wash the cherries well.
  2. In food processor mix all the ingredients apart from cherries.
  3. Geese the pan with butter. Then fill the pan with cherries. I used baking pan 40x25cm.
  4. Pour all the batter over cherries.
  5. Bake in 180c until golden brown. About 45min
